Imperial Gala Concert

A dazzling concert evening that brings the great masters of Viennese Classicism to life through singing, ballet, and imperial elegance.

The Imperial Gala Concert is the only concert series held exclusively at the magnificent Palais Auersperg—one of Vienna’s most significant Baroque gems. In the historic rooms where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Strauss, and many other composers once performed their works, guests can now experience a unique fusion of classical music, singing, and ballet.

The outstanding soloists of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra bring the masterpieces of Viennese Classicism to life with exceptional musical artistry. Festive concert waltzes, virtuoso orchestral pieces, and selected arias take the audience on an elegant journey back to the imperial era—a time when the Viennese waltz shaped ballroom and dance culture throughout Europe.

Featuring vocal and ballet performances, this varied concert evening presents works by Mozart, Johann Strauss, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Pachelbel, and other great classical composers. The interplay of music, movement, and historic surroundings creates an atmosphere that combines imperial elegance with musical excellence.

Unlike other classical concerts in Vienna, the Imperial Gala Concert is inseparable from its venue. Guests enjoy an exceptional concert alongside the distinctive atmosphere of a palace that has been part of Vienna’s musical history for centuries—a place where the spirit of classical music remains alive to this day.
