Programma

The repertoire of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra includes more than 100 works by the great master of the Viennese classical era Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The concerts are performed in the style of 18th century “Musical Academies” at which it was usual to perform single movements from his many symphonies and solo concertos, as well as overtures, arias and duets from his best-known operas.

The favorite works by Mozart are performed at every concert!

  • Overtures, arias and duets from Don Giovanni, The Marriage of Figaro, The Magic Flute etc.
  • Movements from symphonies and serenades such as Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Symphony No. 40, Symphony No. 41 “Jupiter” etc.
  • Concertos for piano, violin, flute etc.

Johann Strauss:

  • “The Blue Danube” Waltz, Radetzky March

The Wiener Mozart Konzert plays in Vienna concerts with internationally renowned singers and soloists - all in magnificent historical costumes and wigs and creates a special atmosphere in Vienna´s largest and most famous Concert halls, like State Opera, Musikverein Golden Hall and Konzerthaus.

In the style of ´musical academies´, as in Vienna concerts were known in Mozart‘s time, the audience enjoy single movements from symphonies and solo concertos, as well as operatic overtures, arias and duets from especially popular and well-known works.

The Wiener Mozart Konzert even fulfill the wishes of the Strauss lovers by performing the most impressing pieces by the Strauss Dynasty, such as ´The Blue Danube Waltz´ and ´The Radetzky March.

The Brahms Hall

The Danish-Austrian architect Theophil von Hansen (1813 – 1891) created with the Brahms Hall in Musikverein the ideal frame for the perfect music enjoyment. Since the restoration after the original plans the Brahms Hall in the Musikverein displays his by visitors from all over the world admired, original beauty in full splendour.

On account of its excellent, world-famous acoustics the Brahms Hall is a frequent venue of the Vienna Mozart Concerts.

The Brahms Hall is equipped with air-condition.

Program:

At 6 pm your table awaits you at the superb restaurant “Opus”, one of Austria’s best restaurants. The chef has prepared a gourmet treat for you, the “concert-goer’s menu”.

After a delicious dinner a page in a Mozart costume will escort you to the Viennese Fiaker (horse-drawn carriage) waiting in front of the restaurant.

You will be driven to the world-renowned Opera House, the Musikverein or the Konzerthaus.

Your page will lead you to your reserved seat, and you are guaranteed a treat for your eyes and ears: the Wiener Mozart Konzert.

You will be presented with a souvenir programme.

In the interval you will have the opportunity to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or a soft drink in the VIP area and to talk to the members of our ensemble. Conductor, singers and soloists will welcome you into their circle.
